Live Sound.  One of the most demanding tasks in audio. There’s so much to deal with and often all at the same time:  feedback, bad acoustics, unfamiliar equipment, equalization, time constraints, monitors, and a host of other things...

We’ll teach you a logical, systematic, and effective way of getting up and running so that your artists can perform their best and you can make sure the audience hears it properly.  This all happens in a controlled environment with lots of hands on work.

We’ll cover:  signal flow, gain structure, routing, feedback control, mic technique, monitor mixes, mics, pre-amplifiers, compressors, limiters, equalizers, mixers, speakers, amps, monitors.and basic acoustics.
